Team Manager
Team Manager-
- One Team Manager will be assigned for each team at the various levels (Atom, Pee Wee, and Bantam0 at the start of the season if needed.
- The Team Manager will oversee all the day to day operations of the team at their level with help as needed from the Field Liaison.
- Attendance
- Notifying Parents of cancelled practices and/or player concerns
- Notifying Coaches of player's being sick or injured
- The Team Manager will take direction from the Field Liaison and the Head Coach of the team.
- The Team Manager will attend all Manager meetings as needed threw out the season.
- The Team Manager must maintain the communication between the parents and all other parties involved for their team.
- The Team Manager will take concerns/complaint from the coaches, parents and players to the Director at Large, if they receive them.
- Make sure everyone at their level is aware of scheduling and changes to their schedules.
- Also making sure everyone at their level is aware of other field conditions ie locker rooms, grass or turf
- Help the coaches in the operation of the team.
- Report any “in-house” fighting and disagreements between the coaches directly to the Director at Large immediately.
- With the Field Liaison and possible Team Fundraiser, create a initial team budget for signing by Treasurer and 2 Parents.
- At year end, hand in the actual's with signatures and left over funds to the Treasurer
- Support the coordination of all Association run events
- Awards Ceremony, Parade, Concession, Home Games, Team Pictures etc.
- Maintain team registers and ensures team documentation is available at all practices and games as required.
- Medicals, insurance forms, EAP’s, report cards etc
- Attend Parent Meetings as needed.
- Report directly to the Director at Large any verbal, physical or mental abuse by parents or coaches during practices or games.
- Report any possible suspensions of players by coaches and/or refs to the Director at Large.
- This also includes coaches suspending the youth from games or practices due to unsatisfactory behavior, vandalism or fighting.
- This includes all game suspensions
- Organize any special team events on your team level once permission has been given by SPFA Executive
- picnics, team breakfasts or team outings etc.
- Coordinate with Registrar and Field Liaison to ensure all player and parent contact information is accurate.
- Working with the Volunteer Coordinator and Communications to ensure all parent volunteers for home games are filled.
- Working with Field liaison and Team Photographer, ensure that a video is made of the team for the year end Awards Ceremony.
