Game Day Volunteers

GAME Days-

Sticks & Chain are to be provided by the home team.
As a volunteer, you are not to display prejudice for either team by conducting in good faith.
Only the three volunteer positions (2 lineman and 1 yard marker) and a Team Photographer are allowed to be on the side lines.
- Coaches and parents are not allowed to walk along the side lines.
The yard markers are to be moved only under the direction of the referee. Moving the markers unduly, can prejudice the game.
Any questions regarding the operation of the yard markers should be forwarded to the game referee.
If the football play comes close to the yard/line markers, drop and run to clear the area for the players. The Referees will re-establish where the markers are to be placed if there is any question regarding re-establishing the markers.

Are only required for Home games in the regular season. Instruction will be given prior to the game on how to use the SPFA scoreboard. Instruction from the refs will be given for how to keep track during the game

At least one parent-volunteer for each team, who can take pictures at games, practices and team activities. (Having more than one can be helpful to ensure coverage at all the games, and for capturing multiple perspectives on each event.)
Photos and videos are to be uploaded to our FB group “Stony Plain 2019 Bombers - Picture Page”.
At the end of the season a video will be made by the team for our Awards ceremony.
